Funshop Park – new Scallier retail park chain being developed in Romania
By the end of 2022, 6 Funshop Park retail parks will be built in Romania, with a total leasable area of 40,000 m² GLA. Poznan-based Scallier, which has been active in the commercial real estate market in Poland and Central and Eastern Europe since 2011, is responsible for the development of the chain.
Compact facilities to suit local needs
Funshop Park is a new brand of a network of retail parks designed for residents of small and medium-sized cities in Romania. The main focus of the project is localism and functionality – each park will offer a diverse range of retail, dining and service offerings.

Catering and services – an important differentiator for Romanian investments
Unlike many developments in Poland, Romanian retail parks will be characterized by a greater emphasis on food and service offerings. This is in response to local expectations of consumers, who regard retail parks not only as a place to shop, but also as a space for leisure activities.
Complementarity with e-commerce

Scallier is already in advanced talks with Polish and international retail chains that are considering expanding into the Romanian market. The company is also encouraging new tenants to join the project.
