Facility in Nowa Wieś near Pruszków
After the acquisition of retail parks in Pleszew and Wrocław, sold to LCP Poland, this time the object of the transaction was a facility located in Nowa Wieś near Pruszków, within the Warsaw metropolitan area.
Characteristics of the property
The retail property, purchased by Centerscape, offers a total of about 2,000 sqm of space. The facility, located on a 0.8-hectare plot, consists of two commercial buildings. One houses a Biedronka store, while the other has outlets including PEPCO, Maxi Zoo and Totalizator Sportowy.
– The project was completed and put into operation at the end of 2023. After more than a year and a half, the facility went into the hands of a company owned by an American fund that invests in properties in the retail sector in Germany, the Czech Republic and Poland. This is another transaction successfully completed with our strategic partner, PKB Inwest Budowa, and is the result of many years of close cooperation, as part of which we are also preparing a retail park in Pyrzyce for sale, informs Bartosz Nowak, Managing Partner at Scallier.
– The pace of retail investment development in the country is not slowing down. The investment landscape is dominated by retail parks and local shopping centers, whose construction is supported by the expansion of popular retail chains and discount brands. The race is now on for county towns and larger urban centers. Locally operating retail parks and convenience centers are responsible for an increasing share of the market, which already covers more than a quarter of the stock of modern retail space in Poland, adds Bartosz Nowak.
